The New York City area could be hit with a snowstorm on Saturday — the first significant snowfall of the season.

Starting as early as 5 a.m., New Yorkers can expect 1 to 3 inches of snow that will continue to fall throughout the day and into Sunday, according to Weather.com.

While it is uncertain at this point if weather conditions will reach “Snowmageddon” levels, New Yorkers will still have to prepare for bad weather conditions.
