NYC Food Truck Fest is your first taste of the season’s mobile grub

It’s not even officially spring yet (that’ll be March 20) but the food trucks are already circling.

NYC Food Truck Festival will be first out of the gate on March 12, organized by the Upper West Side’s excellent year-round Sunday flea market Grand Bazaar NYC. Twelve food trucks serving lobster sandwiches, empanadas, stuffed French toast, barbecue and more will join over 100 vendors at 100 W. 77th St. from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

While you nab those one-of-a-kind finds — with items ranging from antique jewelry to locally made fashions, candles and restored furniture, there’s sure to be something you’ll love —and delicious eats, you will be supporting more than 4,000 kids as Grand Bazaar donates 100 percent of rental fees to four local public schools. Each of the food trucks will also donate a portion of their sales.
