Officials have confirmed that Sascha and Alexander Pinczowski, siblings with ties to New York City who have been missing since the attack on Brussels, were killed in the bombing, CBS2 reported.

The siblings were reportedly on the phone with their mother at the Brussels airport when there was the sound of an explosion and the line went dead.
The news comes after the State Department confirmed that two Americans were killed in the attack on Brussels, Reuters reported, though the two Americans killed in the attacks have not been identified.
It’s not known if Sascha and Alexander Pinczowski were Americans, though the pair both lived and worked in New York City.
A second couple, husband and wife Justin and Stephanie Shults, have also been reported missing since the attack, NBC reported.
