NYPD looking for man who followed woman, took upskirt cellphone pic

Police are searching for a man who allegedly followed a woman on the subway from Queens to Brooklyn and snapped a cellphone picture up her skirt as she shopped in a deli before later smacking her buttocks.

Around 8:15 a.m. on Monday, July 11, the victim, a 33-year-old woman, was followed onto the F train at the 169thStreet Station in Jamaica, Queens, by a man who followed her as she rode the train to Brooklyn and exited onto Caton Avenue near Prospect Park, police reported.

After the woman entered a deli at 623 Caton Ave. and went to the freezer section, the man allegedly approached her from behind and used his cellphone to snap a picture up her skirt, authorities added.

The victim then left the store and returned to the F train to ride back to 169thStreet in Queens, officials stated. The man then followed her again, riding back to Jamaica, and allegedly hit her on the butt as she exited the train.

The man, who remained on the train after the victim exited, was described by police as black, approximately 28 years old, 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black sneakers, black jacket and black shorts.
