In a recently posted video, an NYPD sergeant appears to be choking a woman on a city street.
The video, posted on YouTube, was captured from inside a passing car along Hester Street near Mulberry Street in Little Italy, the New York Post reported. In it, the officer appears to wrap his hand around the throat of a woman against a parked red car. The video contains graphic content and language, and viewer discretion is advised.
The NYPD has not yet commented on the video, according to the Post, which added that the circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known.
