Police seeks duo for stealing $24K in jewelry

A couple that steals together, stays together.

Police are looking for a duo that entered a Madison Avenue jewelry store earlier this week and got away with close to $24,000 in jewels.

On Monday, Dec. 14 at about 3:10 p.m. the suspects entered Links of London, located at 535 Madison Ave., where the female suspect took eight pieces of jewelry from a display case while her male counterpart blocked the employee’s view, police said. The couple then fled to parts unknown.

The female suspect is described to be in her late 40s, have a light complexion, blonde hair and was wearing glasses. The man is in his early 50s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches and was last seen wearing black-framed glasses.

Police have released surveillance images of the duo.
