A couple that steals together, stays together.
Police are looking for a duo that entered a Madison Avenue jewelry store earlier this week and got away with close to $24,000 in jewels.
On Monday, Dec. 14 at about 3:10 p.m. the suspects entered Links of London, located at 535 Madison Ave., where the female suspect took eight pieces of jewelry from a display case while her male counterpart blocked the employee’s view, police said. The female suspect is described to be in her late 40s, have a light complexion, blonde hair and was wearing glasses. The man is in his early 50s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches and was last seen wearing black-framed glasses. Police have released surveillance images of the duo.
