A former flight attendant who abruptly quit her job has disappeared after last being seen at LaGuardia Airport.

Sierra Shields, 30, was working for Shuttle America when she walked out on her job midday Thursday, leaving her belongings behind, CBS reported. The last person to speak to her was her former supervisor.

“This is my beautiful and sweet little sister,” read a post on Crystal Shields’ Facebook page which was quoted by the New York Daily News. “She is the kindest soul, and right now she is missing. Please if you live in New York, or really anywhere, share her picture. Please help find her. Please.”

On Facebook, a page has been established called Find Sierra Shields, the Daily News added, also reporting that the page has now received over 3,600 likes.

Police are worried that Shields could be suicidal, CBS stated, because she had previously told her father she could see God on the other side of the East River, and she voiced a desire to try to swim across it.
