Police are looking for two thieves with a sweet tooth who they say shoplifted 14 times from Manhattan drugstores — mainly in a quest for ice cream.
The suspects first struck last Nov. 16 at a CVS on Park Avenue, taking 40 containers of Haagen Daaz, along with 25 Red Bulls, police said.
They continued their crime spree through the borough, hitting 13 more CVS stores and Duane Reade locations through mid-January. The loot included nearly 1,000 Ben and Jerry's, Haagen Daaz and Talenti ice cream products, several cans of Red Bull and Muscle Milk, and about $1,000 in cold medications.
