Police Sunday released images of a man wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted rape of a woman in the lobby of her apartment building.

The incident happened on April 29 near Croes Avenue and East 174 Street in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

According to police, a man approached a 29-year-old woman from behind as she was entering her building. He pushed into the lobby, covered her mouth, groped her and tried to remove her clothes.

The victim fought him off but suffered scratches to her face. She refused medical attention at the scene, according to police.

The surveillance footage shows an unknown male inside a bodega located on East 174 Street shortly after the incident.
