Fix that this weekend at Kingsley (190 Ave. B), when the contemporary French-American restaurant launches a Build Your Own Bloody Mary & Maria Bar during brunch from noon to 4 p.m. Chef Roxanne Spruance is a former Midwesterner, where Bloody Mary Bars are basically an Olympic-level sport, so there’s some hometown pride at stake.
While Kingsley isn’t balancing a whole fried chicken on the rim (uh, sure), they’ve got over 20 OTT toppings like marinated octopus, roast ham, shrimp, bacon, cheeses, pickled vegetables and more to overload your $14 Bloodies. And since it shouldn’t get above the mid-80s this weekend, sip your creation in Kingsley’s backyard.
