Photos: NYC's first-ever 'Cat Camp'

Cats up for adoption and the humans who love them met at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan.

Felines in need of a home and the humans who love them met for a two-day catstravaganza: the first-ever Cat Camp, in Manhattan's Metropolitan Pavilion.

Organized by Christina Ha — co-founder of New York City's first cat cafe, Meow Parlour — Cat Camp featured speakers including Jackson Galaxy, of "My Cat from Hell" and Hannah Shaw, of "Kitten Lady." Participants could also attend meet-and-greets with famous kitties, like Lil BUB, get their faces painted and adopt cats from local rescue organizations.
