Police seek help in identifying dead body found in Brooklyn

A dead body was found last week at a Brooklyn housing complex and police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.

The body was discovered at about 11:15 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the rear of 301 Sutter Ave. — New York Housing Authority’s Langston Hughes Houses in Brownsville.

Police describe the man as black and between 18 to 25 years old; he was found wearing black cargo pants, a black hooded sweater and a black T-shirt with a picture of a raven and a skull. A sketch released by authorities depicts the unidentified victim, along with a photo of his T-shirt.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
