The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to find a man who police said exposed himself to a teenage girl on the subway.

The victim told police that around 7 a.m. on March 9, the man came into her northbound 5 train at the Baychester Avenue subway station and sat across from her.

The man then exposed himself to the girl, who ran out of the train. The suspect remained, though the victim was able to get a picture before the subway left the station.

The suspect was described as a 35-to-40 year old black man, about six feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white winter cap, a dark colored jacket, blue jeans, a blue latex glove, sunglasses and a yellow plastic bag wrapped around his head.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). You can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting info to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
