Police have arrested 28-year-old boxer Trevis Hall in connection with the murder of his former girlfriend Margarita Rivera, said the NYPD.


Rivera, 31, was stabbed multiple times in the head and chest on the afternoon of Dec. 1 and pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.


Cops made a custodial arrest of Hall on Tuesday and initially let him go, but on Thursday the Queens native was arrested and charged with second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.


Hall has previously been charged with several misdemeanors and felonies, including assault and assault without intent to cause serious physical injury.
