Police continue to look for the suspect who shot and killed a 70-year-old woman who answered the door of her 119th Avenue apartment.

Officers found Leta Webb around 1:39 a.m. Tuesday, with gunshot wounds to the head and arm. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital and pronounced dead.

Webb’s daughter, Eva Usher, believes her mother was targeted and killed by gang members, the Daily News reported. Her adopted son, Arnold Webb, is serving a manslaughter sentence of 25-years-to-life, and has reportedly been having problems with a rival gang in prison.

Police sources told the Daily News they are investigating if Webb’s death is connected to her family members.

No further information is available on the suspect, and anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities.
