R line service resumes after water main break in Brooklyn Heights

Brown water flooded the Court Street station just before rush hour Thursday.

After delays and service changes from a water main break wreaked havoc just before rush hour Thursday afternoon, things are getting back to normal in Brooklyn Heights.

The R and Q lines at the Court Street station are running on their regular schedules Friday morning, but the northern section of the station remains closed while crews continue cleanup efforts and elevator repairs.
