The wine of summer is throwing an appropriately chill and stylish party on Governors Island.

The first-ever Pinknic, a rosé-themed picnic and music festival for 16,000, will take place on the weekend ofJuly 9-10. It borrows some elements of Diner en Blanc — there’s a dress code of pink and white for all attendees, and food can be either BYO or one of four different rosé-paired baskets assembled by chef Chris Santos (Stanton Social). Wine, however, is only available on site from Château d’Esclans — makers of Hamptons water Whispering Angel — and Champagne heavies Domaine Chandon.

But instead of hauling your own table and chairs to the island, they’ll provide pink blankets to sit and take in the mellow sounds ofindie eletronic stars Miami Horror, chillstep master Cedric Alexander C.M.A and more.

Tickets for Pinknic are on sale now starting at $55, with baskets ranging from $65-$80 for a two-person spread.
