WATCH: Son of fallen FDNY chief throws out first pitch at Mets Wild Card game

The Mets also honored the late Deputy Chief Michael J. Fahy with a moment of silence.

The New York Mets played the San Francisco Giants in the Wild Card round on Wednesday night, and hearts were full despite the empty scoreboard for the home team. Fallen FDNY Deputy Chief Michael J. Fahy was honored at the game and his 11-year-old son threw out the first pitch.
