Staten Island man found dead in wooded area

Police found the body of a man in a wooded area on Staten Island on Friday, according to police reports.

NYPD officers responded to a call5:56 p.m.near Arthur Kill Road and Arden Avenue. Police found the body of 37-year-old Timothy Beyer, who lived at71 Hampton Green. EMS pronounced Beyer dead at the scene.

The New York City Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of the man’s death and police said the investigation is ongoing.
