A series of horrific stabbings transpired this weekend, leaving one victim dead and two others seriously harmed.

The first incident occurred on Friday when a 22-year-old female was attacked in Brighton Beach by her estranged husband, who approached her from behind and stabbed her multiple times. and the victim remains in stable condition at Lutheran Hospital, and her assailant, 30-year-old Ravshan Saibnazarova, has been apprehended and charged with Assault 1.

On Saturday morning in Harlem, a 57-year-old woman was slashed in the face with an unknown object as she rode the elevator in a residential building. Following the altercation, she was treated for injuries at Lincoln Hospital. The suspect, believed to be a 40-year-old man and last seen wearing a black jacket, fled the scene.

A final, vicious crime occurred on Saturday night, when 68-year-old Josefina Mendoza was discovered dead in her Queens apartment with multiple stab wounds about her body. Following an investigation, the NYPD arrested 51-year-old Naser Alzein, a resident of the same building, on charges of Murder 2 and Criminal Possession Of a Weapon.
