Police are on the hunt for an attempted rapist who they say attacked a woman as she entered her Bushwick apartment earlier this month.

The victim, a 36-year-oldwoman, entered her apartment building located withinthe 83rd Precinct, which covers the Brooklyn neighborhood, just after 11 p.m. on Oct. 2 when she was followed by the suspect who started speaking with her, cops said.

As the woman wasentering her home, the suspectfollowed the victim inside and attempted to rapeher, police said. The suspect the fled on foot.

Authorities have released video footage of the suspect, who they describe as aHispanicmalein his mid-20’s, about5 feet7 inches tall and170 poundswith brown hair.
