Taylor Swift is the new face of New York City tourism.
On Monday, the city announced that the pop star would serve as its latest Global Welcome Ambassador, informing visitors about this "absolutely overwhelmingly electric" destination, as she says in a new promo video.
The reveal came just a day before the release of Swift's latest album, '1989,' which features the hit single "Welcome to New York" and was written and recorded largely in the Big Apple.
