A teen has been arrested after he allegedly slashed a man who asked him to stop blocking a turnstile at a Harlem subway station Tuesday night.

Victor Cherry, 17, of the Bronx, has been charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, reports said. He was caught after police recognized him from surveillance photos.

Cherry is accused of slashing the 42-year-old victim after he was asked to stop sitting on a turnstile at the 2/3 station on 125th Street, according to published reports. The two argued and Cherry allegedly stabbed the victim in the left hand and slashed him on the right hand.

The victim, who refused medical attention at the scene, later identified Cherry as his attacker after police grabbedhim just one stop from where the stabbing occurred the following day, according to the New York Daily News.
