Service on the J train in Brooklyn was suspended after a teen was stabbed Wednesday afternoon, according to reports.
Northbound service is suspended on the J line between Crescent Street and Broadway-Junction after the MTA said there was a police investigation on the platform of the Crescent Street station, NY1 reported. A woman, who was allegedly waiting on the elevated subway platform, posted on her Facebook saying she saw a group of teens rush to the front of the platform and when the crowd moved back a teen was stabbed on the floor, NBC reported. According to ABC, police said a 22-year-old man was assaulted on the platform. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital and is expected to survive.
