The FDNY said it got a call of a stabbing shortly before 4:30 p.m, according to NBC New York.

A woman, who was allegedly waiting on the elevated subway platform, posted on her Facebook saying she saw a group of teens rush to the front of the platform and when the crowd moved back a teen was stabbed on the floor, NBC reported.

According to ABC, police said a 22-year-old man was assaulted on the platform. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital and is expected to survive.
