The New York Times reports that the young woman, Shaina Foster, and her sister Shalaine Foster admitted to tying up octogenarian Paul Aronson and stealing his cash and credit cards after he took the pair out on a date.

“Mr. Aronson lay helpless on his living room floor, bound with zip ties, unable to eat or drink, from 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 1 until the next morning, when a neighbor discovered him,” The New York Times reported.

Justice Michael Obus of State Supreme Court in Manhattan did not grant Shaina Foster “youthful offender” status (which would have lessened her sentence), citing the seriousness of the crime.

“This is a case in which far worse results could have happened if the victim had not been rescued,” Justice Obus said before sentencing a silent Shaina Foster.

Mr. Aronson met Shaina Foster through sugar daddy and sugar baby dating website SeekingArrangment.com.
