You may party wearing stilettos, pretty clothes and half a tube of mascara, but when it comes to stepping out on the city’s LGBT entertainment scene, the heels are higher, the clothes are fancier (or way less than you’d dare to wear) and there’s no mascara left. Next Tuesday, it’s time to celebrate gay nightlife at the 16th annual Glam Awards, and everyone’s invited to see how it’s done as the best in the business are recognized. The awards for Best Door God/Goddess, Burlesque Performer, Go-Go Boy and more will be given out by hosts Bianca Del Rio, winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and Village Voice scene scribe Michael Musto. Expect lavish one-off performances and some of the most notable names of the past year, including Alexis Michelle, Bob The Drag Queen, Cazwell, Chelsea Piers, Dusty Ray Bottoms, Kizha Carr, Tina Burner and more.
