A 3-year-old boy was injured when a street fighter outside a Brooklyn deli threw a bottle and missed his target, hitting the child instead.
Around 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, when a group of people started arguing on the street near the corner of Fifth Avenue and 60th Street in Sunset Park, one man threw a glass bottle that hit the 3-year-old, who was seated in a stroller at the time, officials said to the New York Daily News. The child and his mother began screaming.
"She was crying. ... He was cut on the head. He was bleeding. She had a napkin on his head," Ali Abdullah, 25, who works at the nearby deli, told the Daily News, which added that the child was taken to Lutheran Medical Center with a deep cut above his right eye.

"He tried to hit the other guy, and he hit the baby," Yaha Althera, 60, described the fight to DNAinfo. "He got the bottle in the face."
Police were focusing their investigation, which has not led to any arrests so far, on a building near where the fight took place, CBS2 reported. Neighbors said that the suspect may live there.
