Police are investigating the major robbery of a Midtown jewelry store.

On Tuesday afternoon, an unidentified suspect, posing as a delivery man, entered the Watch Standard Jewelry armed with a gun as another suspect stood outside keeping watch.

Once inside, he hit one employee over the head and “demanded the property from a safe that was open inside the location,” according to a police report. The pair of suspects then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of jewelry, watches and money.

The first suspect is believed to be a 6-foot-tall black male, between 40-50, and was last seen wearing a dark trench coat, light slacks and a tweed Kangol hat. The second suspect is also a black male, 30-40 years old, and was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, True Religion jeans, a black hoodie and black sneakers.

NYPD has released video of both men, showing them on the sidewalk before the crime occurred as well as fleeing the scene afterward.
