VIDEO: Crazy Starbucks employee goes ballistic

A video of a Starbucks Coffee employee yelling at customers almost indiscriminately has surfaced online and it’s the perfect example of what not to do when it comes to customer service.

The video which was originally posted on Youtube has garnered a decent amount of attention with commenters expressing their disappointment in the employee’s behaviour.
YouTube user, Ruby Chen posted the video and described her experience as “terrible,” and described the employee (who is allegedly a manager) as having an “anger management issue.”
“She took my order of one frappuccino and one special straw. I didn’t hear her coworker asking my name to put on cup at first because I was opening my reward app on my phone to pay, then melissa started to shout at me saying hey helloooo with very bad attitude.” Chen wrote on YouTube. “The only thing I said to her [was] “[sorry] I don’t hear you but you don’t have to yell.” And till now, I haven’t figured out which word aggravated her. Then She took the scanner away as I was trying to pay then told me to leave and never go back. I was trying to ask other employees who I can speak to. She thought I am leaving with the straw on my hand (I picked it up before everything happened), she said I [was] stealing the straw.”
Starbucks told Metro: “This customer’s experience is not reflective of the service our partners (employees) provide to customers every day. As soon as we learned about this, our partner was immediately suspended and now no longer works for Starbucks. Our leadership team is reaching out to the customer to apologize and make this right.”
