A wake Tuesday night for Brownsville rapper Sean Price was jam-packed with family and friends mourning the untimely passing of the talented hip-hop great.


Dozens lined up at the McManus Funeral Home in Flatlands.


From YouTube tributes by rapper Mr. Green to a CrowdRise fundraiser for Price's widow and three kids, the outpouring of love for the 43-year-old family man has shown no let up since he died in his sleep Saturday.

DuckDown Music's CrowdRise started with a goal of $50,000; As of Wednesday morning, it was already at $62,000 ahd climbing.


"The cause of death is currently unknown, but it was reported that he died in his sleep. He’s survived by his wife, and his three children. Sean Price, who turned 43 in March of this year, was a beloved rap artist," DuckDown officials wrote on the fundraising site,
