Video shows car that ran over woman twice before fleeing: NYPD

The car ran over the woman the second time while the driver was allegedly trying to flee.

Police have released video footage of the car that allegedly struck a woman twice in Harlem last weekend before leaving the scene.

The victim, 25, was trying to cross West 125 Street mid-block near Amsterdam Avenuewhen she was struck by an unidentified black two-door sedan, police said. The force of the collision knocked her father into the roadway and onto the ground, where the same car then hit her again before running over her legs in order to flee.

The victim suffered an abrasion to her head, a concussion and pain to her leg, ankle and side. She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where she was treated and released.
