Video shows man snatch teacup puppy from Bronx store: NYPD

The NYPD has released video of a man who didn’t bother to ask “how much is that doggie in the window?” — he just took it.

On May 4 at about 1:30 p.m. the suspect entered R and K Dogs Grooming located at 888 East Tremont Ave. in the Bronx, according to authorities.

The man can be seen on surveillance video first making his way to the front of the pet store where it appears he makes a purchase before heading towards the door to leave.

As he gets to the door, the suspect stops in front of a glass case, which faced the store’s front window and contained two small puppies.

The man opens the door to the case, takes out a black and brown teacup Yorkie and then walks out of the store without paying for the dog, police said.

According to the NYPD, the stolen puppy is worth over $1,000.
