If you ever found Times Square disorienting, wait until you step inside the plaza’s newest public artwork.
Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 18, a three-sided tunnel called “The Beginning of the End” will put you at the eye of a kaleidoscope that reflects and multiplies the plaza round you on two mirrored surfaces. After you’ve got a handle of that psychedelic experience, look down: There’s a third mirror beneath your feet reflecting the sky, so you’re seeming to walk on air.
