A Washington Heights man has been convicted of murdering two of his neighbors and injuring four others in 2011.

Jurors found Christian Falero, 26, guilty of first-degree murder on Tuesday.

Falero went on a “five-minute-long campaign of terror” on Aug. 23, 2011 in his apartment building on Riverside Drive at West 160th Street, prosecutors said.

Stripping off his clothes, Falero descended to the building’s laundry room, before entering an apartment on the second floor where he stabbed and killed Army veteran Ignacio Collazo, 81. As Collazo’s wife screamed for help, neighbor Yan Zhi Wang, 60, opened her door. Falero stabbed her in the head, and she died later of the wounds.

Falero ran naked down the street where he was subdued by cops in a passing patrol car. He will be sentenced on Jan. 16, and faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
