Giants punter Steve Weatherford shredded Eagles quarterbacks last Friday on WFAN, saying Sam Bradford is a “Ferrari that maybe won’t be running all the time” and calling Mark Sanchez a “Cadillac sedan that’s not the fastest but you know what you’re going to get out of it.” Geez, what did Chip Kelly ever do to you, Steve?
“Chip Kelly will get himself in serious trouble if they get an extension done for [Bradford],” Weatherford told Boomer and Carton. “And [if] he gets hurt? He’s done.”
Eagles’ third-stringer Tim Tebow wasn’t spared in the least bit either.
“I mean, who wouldn’t want their daughter to date a guy like that?” Weatherford said of Tebow. “[But] I’ll tell you what, I don’t want him taking snaps for my team.” Maybe Eli Manning will follow the path of his brother, Peyton, and publicly berate Weatherford as an “idiot kicker.”
