When do the 2016 Summer Olympics start, end? (Full schedule, TV begin times)

The 2016 Rio Summer Olympics will begin on Friday, Aug. 5 and will be broadcast on NBC in the United States.

The Opening Ceremonies of the games will take place on Aug. 5 and will be broadcast on NBC starting at 7:30 p.m. that night. The games will conclude on Sunday, Aug. 21 and the closing ceremonies will be broadcast in primetime.
