Win a lunch date with ‘Hamilton’ star Lin-Manuel Miranda

Everyone is (rightly) honoring Lin-Manuel Miranda for his genre-changing musical “Hamilton,” but fans have had little chance of scoring a ticket to these events — until now.

Girl Be Heard, a women-only theater development group, is having a benefit luncheon next Monday, April 18, with Miranda (and his pops!) serving as the “fairy godfathers” of the event. Every attendee will have a red carpet meet-and-greet and photo op with the “Hamilton” star, followed by lunch and an on-theme performance by Girl Be Heard, “We Are Not Throwing Away My Shot.”

For those with the Benjamins to devote to making theater more inclusive, tickets are available here — but the rest of us can try our luck in their online lottery. A limited number of tickets are being given away “in the spirit of #Ham4Ham,” the musical’s series of short skits, jokes and other miscellany performed and streamed for free. The drawing is open now through Thursday, April 14, at noon, with the winners announced on Twitter @girlbeheard.
