New Yorkers should get ready for a snowy commute home on Wednesday.
Joe Pollina, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said 1-2 inches of snow are expected after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
“There’s a higher chance for snow in the evening commute,” Pollina said.
Temperatures will be in the low-30s throughout the day on Wednesday, with an overnight low of 29.
The city has issued a snow alert and is preparing for snow removal on Wednesday afternoon. Alternate side parking remained in effect as of Tuesday afternoon.
