A woman who claimed to police that she was called a “terrorist” in a Manhattan slashing attack later told authorities she made up the entire incident.
The woman, a 20-year-old student at the Make-up Designory, had told police that an attacker approached her on Thursday afternoon near Trinity Church on Broadway by Wall Street, grabbing her arm and slashing her cheek, the New York Daily News reported.
