A woman was found dead in the basement of her Staten Island home Saturday night, possibly killed by her estranged husband before he took his own life, police said.
Police responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. and discovered Iwona Pawliszun, 43, unresponsive with a laceration to her neck at her home on Buffalo Street in Bay Terrace.
EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the woman dead.

According to CBS2, neighbors said they saw a man leaving the house Friday night.
