A woman was hit and killed by a 1 train in Inwood on Monday morning, police said.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was on the tracks in the 207th Street station when she was hit and killed by a southbound 1 train around 10:30 a.m.
Police are investigating how the 54-year-old woman ended up on the tracks.
