A woman was killed early Sunday during a fire at her East Flatbush home.

Police and firefighters responded to the fire at 216 East 89th Street around 3:15 a.m.

Maria Henry, 49, was pulled from the home and transported to Brookdale Hospital for smoke inhalation, and later died from her injuries.

The Daily News reported Raphael Henry, 65, rushed back into the home to try to save his sister from the basement bedroom. Henry was treated for smoke inhalation and is listed in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
