Woman plummets to death from actor David Harbour’s apartment

Woman plummets to death from actor David Harbour’s apartment

A woman staying at actor David Harbour’s East Village apartment apparently leaped to her death Monday evening from his third-floor window, reports said.

The 29-year-old, identified by police as Christin Croft, plummeted from the residence on E. Third Street near Second Avenue at about 5 p.m., cops said. A suicide note was found at the scene.

Harbour, a Tony-nominated actor known for TV and film roles such as “The Newsroom,” “Brokeback Mountain” and “End of Watch,” was not home at the time and was in Canada for the premiere of his new film “Black Mass,” according to published reports.

“She was someone who struggled,”Harbour, 41, told the New York Daily News.

“She was in the shelter system. I was trying to help her out,” he added.

“I’m very confused, I don’t understand how this happened.” “She seemed to be a lovely person. It’s a terrible tragedy. I’m very shaken by this.”

Police are still investigating.
