Harbour, a Tony-nominated actor known for TV and film roles such as “The Newsroom,” “Brokeback Mountain” and “End of Watch,” was not home at the time and was in Canada for the premiere of his new film “Black Mass,” according to published reports.
“She was someone who struggled,”Harbour, 41, told the New York Daily News.
“She was in the shelter system. I was trying to help her out,” he added.
“I'm very confused, I don't understand how this happened.” “She seemed to be a lovely person. It's a terrible tragedy. I'm very shaken by this.”
Police are still investigating.
