Summertime and the moviegoing is easy, with outdoor programs returning to the parks, rooftops, backyards and beaches of the city. We rounded up the outdoor movie night to enjoy under the stars.

Haven Rooftop Summer Movie Series
Theme: Classic American feature films from the past three decades, many with a summer theme. For two weeks in August, a live screening of the 2016 Olympics will replace the movie
Location: 132 W. 47th St. & Seventh Ave.
Amenities: Food and drinks available for purchase, or pay $30 for two signature cocktails, truffle fries and popcorn

Theme:Programming varies from family classics to silver screen gems
Location:West 42 St. and Avenue of the Americas
Amenities:There is free bike parking at the Pétanque Courts (Sixth Avenue and 41st Street); open captions and assistive listening devices are available for each film. No chairs, tables, dogs, plastic sheets, tarps, bags, or pads are permitted on the lawn
Tickets & Time:Free; lawn opens at 5 p.m., films start at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.)

Theme:Varied programming, from box office blockbusters to classics, to cult
Location: Rooftop Film Club will screen films in two locations this year: Yotel, 570 10th Ave., Hell’s Kitchen; and Office Ops, 57 Thames St., Brooklyn
Amenities: Yotel tickets include a glass of Champagne and a bag of buttered popcorn. Also, drinks and snacks from new terrace restaurant Green Fig are available for purchase before, during and after the screening. Office Ops is BYO and has snacks and mixers and cups. Wireless headphones and comfy seats are provided at both venues.
