Update 7:43 p.m.: Earlier on Wednesday, three Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to a specialized screening team at Newark Airport were arrested Wednesday for hazing fellow officers, allegedly pinning the victims to a “rape table,” according to court records.
Tito Catota, Parmenio Perez and Michael Papagni facing charges of forcibly assaulting, impeding, intimidating and interfering with two men —“Victim One” and “Victim Two” — while the victims were on duty.
The five involved were part of the unit in charge of confiscating contraband and identifying possible terrorist activity, ABC News reported.
“The defendants, who were members of a unit responsible for identifying dangerous contraband and threats to national security, allegedly subjected their own colleagues to senseless physical abuse, all while on duty at Newark Liberty International Airport,” acting U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said.
Update 7:31 p.m.: CBS2 is reporting that there is a suspicious package at Newark Airport causing evacuations at Terminal C.

Passengers are left confused as Newark Airport’s Terminal C is evacuated.
Sources at Newark Airport have told us that they are unable to get tickets and there is a large police presence. Twitter users posted photos, writing that there are no security checks and passengers are not allowed to board their flights.
