A bizarre break-and-enter incident that saw condiments spread over the pews and pulpit of an Oakville, Ont., church has caused some $10,000 worth of damage.
Police say the suspects broke into the Trafalgar Presbyterian Church, west of Toronto, through a large glass window overnight between Aug. 9 and 10.
Windows were smashed and mustard and ketchup from the church’s kitchen was smeared inside the church. Police say the suspects also grabbed sound equipment valued at over $2,000 and that total damage to the church was estimated at more than $10,000. Brandon Christensen, 23, and Jordon Miller, 22, both of Hamilton are facing charges.
