Police are investigating an assault from yesterday morning where a male victim was punched in the face at a bank machine.

Halifax RCMP say the victim entered a satellite Royal Bank ATM site at 5029 St. Margarets Bay Rd. around 5:30 a.m. when two men came up from behind .

Police allege one of the suspects then said something to the victim and punched him in the face.
Police say the two suspects then made off on foot.

The male who assaulted the victim is described as six feet tall with a heavy build and wearing a dark jacket with his face covered. Police say the other suspect was believed to be carrying some type of firearm.
