All-new look and enhanced performance

Sharper frontal bodywork for the new Saab 9-3 model includes lighting treatment signifying the future face of the company’s designs.

Inspired by the award-winning Aero X concept car, Saab’s new 9-3 model for 2008 features significant developments in design, performance and handling, building on its acclaimed driving appeal.

All-new front bodywork includes lighting treatment that signifies the future face of Saab designs. Together with new door panels and rear styling features, the latest generation 9-3 has a more focused, assertive stance and distinctive Saab identity. The all-turbo lineup includes the entry-level 2.0T (210 horsepower) and the improved performance of the 2.8-litre V6 Aero (255 hp) model.

“The 9-3 range offers very generous levels of standard equipment and, for 2008, we’ve added even more equipment, features and technologies,” said Magnus Hansson, brand manager for Saab Canada.

“Available in late September ‘07, the new 9-3’s combination of great styling, impeccable safety and spirited performance enhance driving appeal and make it an outstanding value for Canadians who appreciate a car with a premium and sporty character.”

The restyled 9-3 is immediately recognizable by the sharper frontal styling, which adopts fascia, grille and surfacing themes first seen on the Aero X concept. The 9-3 returns to Saab’s classic ‘clamshell’ hood design - first seen in the iconic 1967 Saab 99.

Representing the heart of the Saab line-up, the 9-3 range accounts for two-thirds of the brand’s global sales and will continue to be offered in Sport Sedan, SportCombi and Convertible models.
