Toyota Canada has revealed details of its 2009 model Camry. It is available in five models with a choice of engine sizes and transmissions, plus more standard equipment and some new options packages.



These additions, plus a lower manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $23,400 for the base LE ($2,500 lower than its predecessor), will be sure to please.


For 2009, the Camry continues with five models: LE, SE (manual or automatic), LE V6, SE V6 and the top-line XLE V6.


All models are standard equipped with many convenience, comfort and safety features, including: AM/FM stereo/CD player with MP3/WMA capability, audio auxiliary input jack, six speakers and steering wheel mounted audio controls; air conditioning with a cabin air filter and rear seat heater ducts; power door locks with keyless entry and remote trunk release; power windows with driver’s side auto-down function; high visibility electronic gauges; silver accented interior trim; dual vanity mirrors; tilt/telescoping steering column; plus many more comfort and convenience items.

New for 2009, an available Navigation Package on the SE V6 builds on the Leather and JBL Package by adding a DVD-based navigation system with a 7-inch liquid crystal display screen.

  • On sale now, the Camry LE carries an MSRP starting at $23,400 while the LE V6 starts at $28,235. The sporty SE starts at $25,435 for the four-cylinder version, and $31,350 for the SE V6. The top-line XLE V6 starts $35,020.
