Combining the fuel economy of a sedan and the utility of a crossover, the 2010 next generation Equinox offers the choice of two fuel-efficient direct injection engines — a 2.4-litre I4 and a 3.0-litre V6, both paired with 6-speed automatic transmissions.
The 2.4-litre equipped Equinox delivers a segment-best 6.1L/100 km in highway driving, placing it well in front of the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CRV. The Equinox also has a range of up to 1,164 km’s on a single tank of gas, meaning fewer fill-ups for customers.
